TALAPIA FISH TACOS

Ingredients:

Fresh Talapia Fillet

Juice of 1 lime plus 1 lime for garnishing

2 cups of Shredded lettuce

1/2 cup of shredded red cabbage (completely optional)

2 tablespoons of Love That Spice Taco Season Blend

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1/2 cup fresh cilantro

1 cup of diced tomato

Salsa for serving (optional)

Pickled Jalapenos (optional but tasty spicy addition)

6 Flour tortillas

Let's Cook!

Make sure fish is patted completely dry with paper towel

Begin slicing your talapia in 2 inch strips (or you may dice in large chunks)

In a large bowl, drizzle talapia with olive oil about, 1 tablespoon

Add the juice of 1 lime

Add 2 tablespoons of Love That Spice Taco Season Blend

Let marinate for at least 30 minutes or longer for additional flavor

In a hot pan over high heat add 1 tablespoon of olive oil

Add fish and cook on each side for 3 minutes - FISH SHOULD BE SEARED NOT BURNED

Remove from flame and let rest 10 minutes

While fish is resting warm your tortillas in a skillet with high heat - DO NOT OIL SKILLET

Now that your tortillas are nice and warm you can rough chop your fish and begin dressing it on the tortilla shell.  Be sure to squeeze the reserved lime on the fully dressed taco.

Best served with an ice cold Corona.....of course with a lime!
