Savory Orange Ginger Pork Tenderloin
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 1/2 pound pork tenderloin
1/2 tablespoon of Pink Himalayan Sea Salt or to taste
1/2 tablespoon of fresh ground black pepper
2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
1 medium onion finely chopped (equal to 2 1/2 tablespoons)
1 1/2 tablespoon of grated ginger
1/2 cup of Love That Spice Orange Gourmet Sauce
1 teaspoon of dried thyme
Let's Cook!
Preheat oven to 400 degrees and Line a 9x13 rimmed baking sheet with foil.
Meanwhile, over medium high heat, add and heat the olive oil.
Next add sea salt and fresh ground black pepper to the pork tenderloin and then brown the tenderloin in the skillet on all sides (this should take about 10 minutes).
Remove the tenderloin from the skillet and place on the baking sheet and roast another 30 minutes or until the meat thermometer registers 145 to 150 degrees.
Remove meat from baking sheet to a cutting board and let meat rest 15 minutes.
Now warm 1 tablespoon of butter in the skillet that you used to brown the tenderloin and over medium heat add the butter, onion and ginger and sauté 5 minutes.
Next add Love That Spice Orange sauce and bring to a simmer, don't forget to scrape the bottom of the skillet for the brown bits.
Now add the thyme and simmer until the sauce thickens a bit.
Next add the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter and salt and pepper to taste.
Now, slice the tenderloin and pour sauce from the skillet all over the tenderloin, reserving some of the delicious sauce for dipping.
In a word......YUMMY!
