Japanese Matcha Green Tea - is the only form of tea in which the whole leaf is consumed, and because it is made from top-quality leaves that are treated with great care, it delivers more of the healthful elements of green tea than other forms. In addition to providing trace minerals and vitamins (A, B-complex, C, E, and K), matcha is rich in catechin polyphenols - compounds with high antioxidant activity. In fact Matcha tea has 6 times the amount of antioxidants of Goji berries, 60 times that of spinach and 17 times the amount of blueberries! These compounds offer protection against many kinds of cancer and help prevent cardiovascular disease. They also reduce harmful cholesterol in the blood, stabilize blood sugar levels, help reduce high blood pressure and enhance the resistance of the body to many toxins. The most important polyphenol in matcha is EGCG (epigallo-catechin gallate), which according to Dr. Oz, is a great thermogenic component believed to boost the metabolism and has great anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Goji Berries - Goji berries are filled with powerful antioxidants and other compounds. Goji berries also have compounds rich in vitamin A. In laboratory tests, antioxidants minimize damage from free radicals that injure cells and damage DNA. When a cell's DNA changes, the cell grows abnormally. Therefore, antioxidants can take away the destructive power of free radicals.  

Spirulina - this super food detoxes heavy metals (especially arsenic) and eliminates candida overgrowth, which has become the hallmark sign for most autoimmune diseases today. According to Dr. Axe, spirulina also increases production of antibodies, infection-fighting proteins, and other cells that improve immunity and help ward off infection and chronic illnesses such as cancer. Lowers blood pressure and reduces cholesterol, increases energy and speeds up weight loss. Compared to placebo trials, spirulina is effective at reducing itching, nasal discharge, nasal congestion and sneezing. Orange Peel -  The little known fact is that there are substantially more enzymes, flavonoids, and phyto-nutrients in the peel of the Orange rather than the fruit. The peel is where all the essential components accumulate and they may be found in three main sections of the peel; the flavedo, albedo, and oil sacs. Orange peel is also extremely rich in Vitamin C, Vitamin B1, Choline, Folic Acid, over 60 known flavonoids, d-limonene, alpha-carotene, beta-carotene, aldehydes, numerous minerals and vitamins.

Ceylon Cinnamon - meta-analysis show that when using Ceylon cinnamon the findings are that there is a significant drop in blood glucose levels in diabetics as well as drops in cholesterol with as little as consuming 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per day. Like many other spices cinnamon has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Researchers have even discovered recently that it's rich in antioxidants called polyphenols - which makes it great for your heart! It's also high in fiber, as it comes from the bark of a tree.

Organic Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearl Green Tea. This tea is one of the prettiest treasures from the world of tea. It grows in the mountains of southeast China. For more than 100 years, only the finest and youngest leaves of the best green tea qualities have formed the basis for this rarity. The still not quite dry leaves are mixed up to six times with fresh, delicately smelling jasmine blossoms, then sieved and rolled by hand to small pearls. The leaf encloses the fine jasmine aroma and only sets it free during brewing. The cup has an elegant champagne color. 2.5 ounces, refill bag.

Steeping Instructions: 1 heaping teaspoon to 6 ounces water / water temperature 176 - 194 degrees Fahrenheit / steep 2 to 3 minutes / sweeten with honey

Kansas City Barbecue Rub. Complex, bold, earthy, sweet layered flavors. Goes great on steaks and heavier meats. This blend can also be used as a bold and delicious sauce base by combining 2 1/2 tablespoons of this blend to 2 cups of tomato sauce and 1/3 cup of honey and a pinch of cayenne pepper.

Blended with Hungarian Paprika, cloves, cumin, sage, coriander, celery seeds, Spanish thyme, Tellicherry black peppercorns, Turkish oregano, pink Himalayan sea salt, mustard powder and brown sugar.

Bold, complex, and savory with a slight kick of sweet heat. Works well braised meat or in a stew. 2 ounces

Louisiana Cajun Spice Blend. Discover the joy of Cajun food. This blend is bold, spicy, and just plain ole fantastic! Great on fish, chicken, turkey, seafood, and potatoes. Makes the perfect rub for your Thanksgiving turkey.

Blended with paprika, granulated garlic, dried onion flakes, oregano, basil, cayenne powder, and white pepper.

Louisiana Creole Spice. This blend is a bold slap to your taste buds Louisiana style. With garlic, onion, black pepper, paprika, salt, cayenne pepper and spices. You will enjoy this blend in rice, meats, stews or pan searing chicken, pork, shrimp or fish. In your face flavor!

Quick fix? Grab a catfish fillet rub with olive oil and generously rub this blend all over and pan sear over high heat for 4 minutes. Flip the fish over, turn down the heat to medium low,  squeeze the juice of 1 lemon directly into skillet and spoon over the fish until it is done cooking about 4 minutes.

Super Bowl Recipe? Grab a pound of chicken wings (discard the tips) toss in a bowl and rub with olive oil, then generously shake on this blend. Roll up your sleeves and mix the wings until they are generously coated. Toss in the oven for 45 minutes at 375 degrees. While you wait make the brushing sauce by combining 1/2 tablespoon of the blend, juice of 2 lemons and a teaspoon of olive oil, stir together. After 45 minutes, brush the wings with sauce and flip over put back in the oven for an additional 30 minutes at 415 degrees. Take the wings out of the oven and generously brush with the sauce and put back in the oven for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and toss with the rest of the sauce. Serve with a side of lemon and an ice cold beer!

Madras Curry Moong Dal Lentils are the same as mature mung beans, and are similar in size and texture to lentils. Moong dal, like other legumes are a great source of non-animal protein as well as a fantastic source of dietary fiber and nutrients. Naturally low in fat and high in protein, keep your Moong dal dish healthy by pairing it with low-fat foods, such as vegetables, using a minimal amount of added fat. We have added our Madras Curry Spice Blend, an aromatic blend of Indian spices to the Moong Dal, making this a complete, bold and delicious meal! For the health conscious and the foodie alike!

Boil 2.5 cups of water, add contents of bag, 1 1/2 tbsp. of olive oil and simmer 15 minutes. Add 1 cup of fresh spinach and turn off flame. Salt to taste. Add a bit more water for soup.
