Something to Chew On.....Spices for Health!

It’s so easy to pick up dinner at a fast food restaurant to feed your family. I know how easy it is because it’s easy for me too! When I look at what fast food does to our bodies I can’t help but think about what I could do to give my family healthy food instead of just empty calories. Cooking at home can be time-consuming and that’s why I created my special spice blends that not only speed up the process of cooking but it also has tons of antioxidants in the blends. Adding herbs and spices to food is a great low-calorie way to improve the taste of your meal while increasing the health benefits. Take for instance my special Ground Turkey Spice Blend, which has turmeric (great for inflammation, Alzheimer's disease, arthritis, diabetes, etc.), pink Himalayan sea salt (rids the body of toxins), ginger, (heartburn relief to nausea and much more), cumin(contains very high concentration of antioxidants, increases the metabolism, aids digestion, etc.), coriander(dietary fiber, iron, magnesium, lowers bad cholesterol and raises good, lowers blood sugar, anti-inflammatory, etc.), cardamom (aides the digestive system, reducing gas and counteracts stomach acidity, urinary tract system and to improve the circulation of the lungs to treat asthma, etc.), garlic (treats allergies, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, lowers some incidences of stomach, prostate and possibly breast cancer, etc), Ceylon cinnamon (colds, indigestion, cramps, great for diabetics for lowering blood sugar levels and lowers bad cholesterol, etc.) and chili (loaded with vitamin A and C, potassium, calcium, iron, etc). Can you imagine preparing and eating a meal that contains all of the before mentioned spices, and let's not forget DELICIOUS? Each of my special spice blends have medicinal uses, are high in antioxidants and have long been used for those purposes. I figure if you can cook great tasting meals that also have great health benefits and takes only 25 minutes to prepare, well you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out where I’m going with this!  In the time it takes you to zoom up to the counter to order fast food for dinner or call for delivery, you could have a tasty meal packed with antioxidants and endless health benefits in minutes.
