The Medicines of Spice, Tea & Connections: an Evening of Healing Before the Holidays with Geeta Maker-Clark, MD, ABOIM (she/her).
EVENT DATE & ADDRESS: November 14, 2026 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Love That Spice 1893 Sheridan Road - Highland Park, IL (847) 780-4658.
As the holiday season approaches, join Dr. Geeta Maker-Clark, integrative medicine physician and author of the new best selling Medicine for All People: Science and Ancient Wisdom for Revolutionary Healing, for a warm and nourishing evening at Love That Spice & Tea.
Together with owner Marlena Jayatilake we’ll explore the healing wisdom of plants, herbs, spices, and teas, and the way these everyday medicines can support our well-being, calm our nervous systems, and help us find moments of grounding and real healing, during the busy holiday season.
We’ll also reflect on the medicine of relationships: How connection, community, ritual, sharing a cup of tea can foster belonging and offer powerful pathways to uplift our health.
Blending modern science with ancestral wisdom, this intimate conversation invites us to rediscover the healing possibilities already present in our kitchens, our relationships, and our daily lives!
The evening will include a conversation with Dr. Geeta, light bights, tea and beverages, a copy of the book Medicine for All People and a book signing.
Come curious, leave nourished, and carry a little more warmth and wisdom into the holiday season.
