LOOSE LEAF TEA

Ras el Hanout. This exotic Moroccan spice blend contains up to 25 spices and has several variations. Complex, aromatic, powerful yet warm, can be used on all types of meat....find yours! For perfect Middle Eastern cooking, this blend is not to be missed. Makes a perfect roasted chicken, lamb or fish! This blend is renowned in the Middle East for flavorful and exceptional tasting food!

Blended with black peppercorns, coriander, lavender, paprika, grains of paradise, anise, nigella, cardamom, mace, ginger, cinnamon, galangal, caraway , ginger, rose petals, cubeb, long pepper, turmeric, cardamom, ginger, salt, cinnamon, and spices.

Quick recipe: Rub butterflied chicken (or cut-up pieces) with a mixture of 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 tablespoon unsalted butter and the juice of 2 lemons, mix together. Next add about 1 1/2 tablespoons of Ras el Hanout  and rub into chicken, let sit for 30 minutes. Light grill and cook for 45 minutes to 1 hour (over direct heat for the first 5 minutes of cooking for grill marks, then move chicken to cooler side of the grill for even cooking) or until chicken is done, with a moderate temp of about 300 degrees. Once chicken is done, let it rest loosely covered for 10 minutes. Be sure to pour the juice from the pan all over the chicken before you sprinkle lemon zest. Sprinkle zest of 1 lemon and a handful of fresh mint leaves or coriander. Serve over rice, couscous or a bed of lettuce with lemon wedges.

Basting sauce - Juice of 1 lemon, 1/2 tablespoon olive oil, 1/2 teaspoon of Ras el Hanout and a pinch of salt. Baste chicken at least 3 times while cooking, every 15 minutes. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT STEP THAT ADDS EXCEPTIONAL FLAVOR AND KEEPS THE CHICKEN DELICIOUSLY MOIST!

Formed by the Japanese terms rei (cosmos) and ki (spiritual energy), Reiki is an ancient spiritual healing method which is said to bring about healing on physical, mental, emotional and spiritual levels. The  blend of herbs, fruits and blossoms with its freshness and sweetness is a pure experience of nature.

Blended with: sultanas, apple pieces, mango cubes, lemon grass, rose hips, hibiscus flowers, orange peel, carrot shreds, stinging nettle leaves, sweet blackberry leaves, tangerine pieces, blue cornflower blossoms, mallow blossoms, marigold blossoms, rose petals and safflower.

Add 1.5 tsp tea to 6oz boiled water. Steep 10 minutes

Organic Roasted Caramel Caribou Mate. This high caffeine tea blend is carefully roasted and hand blended in-house with almonds, organic South African rooibos, organic yerba mate, organic chicory, caramel extract, organic cardamom, & organic calendula. Full bodied with notes of caramel, cardamom, roasted almonds and chicory for a taste slightly similar to coffee. Add a splash of cream and a bit of maple syrup for a delicious cup of high octane tea! This is a must have handcrafted tea that should be part of any tea connoisseur’s collection.

Roasted Kukicha Green Tea. This green tea quality is largely composed from organic cultivation by leaf stalks, the so-called "Kuki", which are obtained during the production of Sencha or Bancha. It is, therefore, nearly free of caffeine, but rich in trace elements. Toasted Kukicha is a particular green tea specialty with a strong, sweetish taste. The mild coffee note reminds a little of dark chocolate. Despite its characteristic appearance, its taste is discreet and thus makes it an enjoyable experience. It is suitable both during the day and in the evening.

Steeping Instructions- 1 rounded teaspoon to 6 ounces of water at temperature 176-194 degrees Fahrenheit. Steep 1-3 minutes. Sweeten with honey if desired.

Sizzlin Shawarma Spice is a blend straight out of the Middle East. Absolutely amazing flavor and can be used to flavor lamb, beef or chicken to be served in pita bread, couscous, in a fattoush salad or over a bed of rice. Also wonderful when sprinkled in hummus,

Hand-blended with lemon verbena , sumac, onion, garlic, cumin, mace, cayenne pepper and kosher salt.

To use as a marinade: add 1/2 cup yogurt, 1/4 cup water, 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, chopped onion, 3 garlic cloves chopped, 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil and 1 tablespoons of this spice blend per pound of meat, mix until well blended. Add 3 pounds of boneless lamb shoulder cut in 1 1/2" strips (or your choice of meat) and marinate overnight or at least 12 hours. Pan sear meat on medium high heat for 4 to 6 minutes per side, squeeze juice of 1 lemon directly in the pan and then spoon over cooked meat several times to coat. Add a sprinkle of this spice blend prior to serving.
